The Astral Audio Experience is a radio show styled drama set in a world of fantasy, scifi, and horror. The (fictional) host of the radio portion is the leader of a secret society who defends this realm from entities within it and from other realms; the headquarters located in the Astral Realm. Just thought to contain a person’s astral body when he or she astral projects, it has been discovered that the realm can contain physical matter as well and has its own assortment of beings; good
and evil. The premise behind the podcast and of Astral Audio Productions is four fold:
- 1. Present some form of entertainment in the style of radio broadcasting; be it music, commedy bit etc.
- 2. Use the radio style to draw listeners into the real meat of the show; an audio drama that uses elements of horror, science fiction, and suspense.
- 3. Provide multiple avenues for listeners to interact with the overall experience. (A listener forum, reference current events in episodes, and use Google Maps when possible for specific locations.)
- 4. Teach listeners how to do the ins and outs that make up an audio drama production while also providing motivational material.
